Our story

There is a moment, when you hold a genuine Patola
saree up to the light, where the pattern appears
identical on both sides of the fabric.

No front. No back. Just perfection throughout.

That moment is what Shreeji Patola is built around.

Who We Are

We are a second generation weaving family from
Surendranagar, Gujarat. Our roots in Patola silk
go back to our father's generation, when our family
first sat at the loom and began mastering the art
of ikat weaving.

Today we carry that legacy forward with our own
manufacturing unit in Surendranagar, where every
saree is woven under our direct supervision and
comes to you straight from our hands.

What Makes Patola Extraordinary

Patola is one of India's oldest and most
technically demanding handloom traditions, with
roots going back over 700 years in Gujarat.

Double Ikat Patola is one of only three such
weaving traditions in the entire world. Both the
warp and weft threads are individually hand dyed
before a single thread is woven, creating a pattern
so precise it appears painted rather than woven.

One weaver. Six months. One saree.

This is the craft we have grown up with. This is
the craft we are committed to sharing with the world.

Welcome to Shreeji Patola-The Art of Ikat.
